Laurie Krotman and Susan Shattuck take the lead in working with clients and are ably assisted by key employees whose particular skills and expertise add depth to the team.
Debbie C. Bernstein
Debbie brings over 15 years of non-profit fundraising experience to the SEU team, having served as Special Events Coordinator and Regional Director of ORT America-Long Island where she used her outstanding organizational and people skills to develop successful benefits, showcases, lecture series and other events. She takes initiative and employs dynamic leadership skills honed during her tenure as President and Board Trustee of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Board of Education.
Ellen specializes in directing and coordinating elements, including, but not limited to, auctions, mailing coordination, follow-up calls and more. She has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit world, including many years with the Boys and Girls Club.
Sue has over 20 years of experience in running fundraising events, including directing fundraisers for Hadassah, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and other non-profits. She coordinates database management, event logistics, seating and other significant elements. With an accounting background, she also provides guidance in projecting and meeting financial goals.
Linda uses her powerful leadership skills to follow-up on fundraising leads and motivate others. She assists with direction and leadership before, during and after the event. She brings years of organizational experience to the table, including her work as President of the Parent Resource Center and her work on numerous community campaigns.
Ellen’s accounting and organizational skills help the SEU team coordinate a variety of elements. She provides on-site assistance for events and trouble-shoots during the entire process.
